Community FAQ

Practical questions answered by the player community

💎 What's the best way to spend real money?

Priority order: Lunite Subscription ($5/mo, ~$0.27 per pull — by far the best value) → Weekly Subscription ($10, ~$0.70/pull, once per patch) → Battle Pass ($10, ~$1.08/pull) → Top-up bundles (buy each tier's first-purchase bonus before repeating any tier). Every other option is significantly less efficient.

📦 Is the Battle Pass worth buying?

If you're a new player who needs EXP mats, shell credits, and a BP weapon — yes, the raw materials alone justify the $10. For veterans sitting on millions of credits with nothing to build: it's ~9 extra limited pulls for $10. Still better pull-per-dollar than top-ups, but not life-changing if you skip it.

🔄 Do the first-time top-up bonuses ever reset?

Yes — once a year during the anniversary event (late May). Don't buy a tier a second time until you've first-purchased every tier at least once. The $30 bundle first-time bonus gives 3960 Lunite (double); repeat purchases at that tier give only 2240.

🎫 How many free pulls do I get per patch?

Approximately 110 pulls per version as F2P (dailies, events, ToA, exploration, codes). With Lunite Sub + BP, that jumps to ~138. With Lunite + BP + Weekly Subscription, you're looking at roughly 152 pulls per patch cycle — nearly enough to guarantee a limited character.

💰 How does pity work and how many pulls to guarantee a character?

80 pulls to hit pity (soft pity starts ~65). 50/50 on first pity — you have a 50% chance of getting the featured character. If you lose, the next pity is guaranteed. 160 pulls = absolute worst case to guarantee a limited 5★. Weapon banner uses a separate pity system (80 max, no 50/50). Pity carries over between banners of the same type.

⚡ What should I spend Waveplates on daily?

Priority: Weekly bosses (3/week, needed for Forte upgrades) → Ascension/upgrade materials for your active team → Tacet Fields (echo farming) → Shell credits (you burn through these fast at endgame). Never let Waveplates cap at 240 — log in twice a day or condense them if you're busy.

🔮 How does the Echo system actually work?

Each character has 5 echo slots (Cost 4+3+3+1+1). The Cost-4 echo provides an active skill (press Q to transform/attack). Cost-3 and Cost-1 echoes provide passive stat bonuses. Equip echoes from the same Sonata set (2-piece gives one bonus, 5-piece gives a stronger one). Substats are randomly rolled with Tuners — expect to farm dozens of echoes for a good set.

🗡️ Should I pull for signature weapons?

Depends on your budget. Signature weapons are usually 15-25% stronger than the best free alternative. If you're F2P or a low spender: characters > weapons — new characters unlock team variety and playstyles. If you spend on Lunite + BP and really love a character, their signature is a solid power spike. Free 5★ weapons (Standard Banner) and crafted weapons are good enough for all content.

📅 How long does it take to build a character from scratch?

With optimized Waveplate spending: ~2 weeks to get a character to Level 80 with Level 6+ Forte skills and a passable echo set. Level 90 + max Forte + optimized echo substats can take 3-5 weeks per character. Pro tip: pre-farm ascension materials before pulling using online farming guides — then you can level them day 1.
